We’re talking action, romance, historical dramas, and even a classic Halloween movie – it’s the perfect time to discover something new or catch up on something you might have missed.
10. ‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever’ (2022)
Directed by Peter Farrelly, this movie tells the true story of an incredible event during the Vietnam War, starring Zac Efron and Russell Crowe. It’s based on the book by John “Chickie” Donohue and Joanna Molloy. The film first shown at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2022, and became available on Apple TV+ on September 30, 2022. It’s rated R for strong language and war violence and runs for 2 hours and 6 minutes. The story centers around Donohue’s unlikely journey to bring beer to his buddies fighting in the war.

8. ‘Fountain of Youth’ (2025)
Directed by Guy Ritchie, this action-packed adventure follows John Krasinski and Natalie Portman as they travel the world searching for the key to an ancient mystery. The movie debuted on Apple TV+ on May 23, 2025, and lasts about 2 hours and 5 minutes. It was produced by Apple Studios and Skydance Media, and also stars Eiza González and Domhnall Gleeson. 7. ‘Greyhound’ (2020)

In this action-comedy, Mark Wahlberg plays Dan Morgan, a retired hitman who’s forced to take his family on a wild, unexpected road trip when his past catches up to him. Michelle Monaghan also stars. The film is rated PG-13 for action, language, and some suggestive content, and runs for 1 hour and 58 minutes. It follows a family fleeing across various cities and continues to be a popular offering from Apple Original Films, especially with a sequel on the way.
5. ‘The Gorge’ (2025)
