The recently released series, titled “Agatha All Along“, serves as both a continuation and an extension of the storyline presented in “WandaVision“. It primarily revolves around Agatha Harkness following her breakout from the magical confinement constructed by the Scarlet Witch.
Due to its connection with “WandaVision” and the series’ delving into magical elements within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are eagerly anticipating a return or cameo of the Scarlet Witch in the program.
Jac Schaffer, the show’s producer, has clarified that our series centers around Agatha, as having Wanda present could divert focus from her character. But don’t be surprised if the Scarlet Witch reappears in future episodes!
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my thoughts about the Scarlet Witch. In an astonishing display of power, she brought down Darkhold Castle upon herself, effectively annihilating all existing copies of the Darkhold, leading many to believe she perished in the process. Despite her towering strength within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Scarlet Witch is not invincible; her vulnerability makes her susceptible to harm, unlike titans such as Hulk and Thor.
Debris plummeting down might have effortlessly ended Wanda’s physical form, but fans have persistently speculated that she wouldn’t remain deceased for an extended period. Numerous hypotheses about how Wanda could re-emerge in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) have been proposed, and it’s possible we’ve neglected something significant—Rio Vidal might be a key factor in her resurrection.
In the first episode of Agatha All Along, Rio Vidal made his appearance, initially portrayed as the Green Witch and an adversary to Agatha. Yet, their connection proved to be intricate, for they were not only foes but also lovers in a complex relationship.
The release of Marvel merchandise following the show premiere hinted at Rio Vidal being none other than Lady Death, the fourth cosmic being in the MCU. This theory aligns well because Vidal appeared to be intensely determined to eliminate Agatha, given that Agatha’s realm revolves around spirits.
In the seventh episode of Agatha All Along, it was undeniably revealed that Rio Vidal is deceased, as Lilia Calderu plainly referred to her in that manner.
From the start, Rio Vidal has been accompanying the coven while gathering decaying corpses, yet there’s a chance she could be instrumental in bringing Wanda back to life.
In simpler terms, Death holds immense power across the universe, with abilities almost limitless within specific boundaries. Although these boundaries may seem strict in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it’s clear that Death has the ability to resurrect someone.
On the Witches’ Path, Lady Death might be the elusive goal everyone seeks, which could explain why so few travelers make it through alive. However, Agatha managed to endure due to her skill in charming or outwitting Death.
It’s plausible that Agatha and Billy may find themselves at the end of their journey once more. In this situation, Billy could express a wish for his mother to be reanimated. Alternatively, he might request Death to resurrect his brother, but given that Tommy is still alive – as evidenced by Billy’s ability to sense him – such a resurrection may not be feasible.
In the comics, Agatha was resurrected by a path known as the Witches’ Way, similar to how one might bring someone back to life. This magical route allowed her to leave the realm of the dead and rejoin the world of the living.
