The Kelly Clarkson Show: Everything We Know About Singer’s Absence As a Host and Who All Took Over

Kelly Clarkson hasn’t been present at the taping of The Kelly Clarkson Show for more than a week straight, starting from March 3. In her absence, Simu Liu stepped up to fill in as the host, even though he was initially there solely to promote his latest film, Last Breath.

On stage, the actor disclosed that he learned about the modifications mere five minutes prior to the start of filming the episode. It’s worth noting that Liu took over for Clarkson in 2022.

Initially, the actor mentioned, “Unfortunately, Kelly can’t be here today. We’re wishing her all the best.” Later in his conversation with the crowd, Shang-Chi’s star revealed, “I found out I was doing this just a few minutes ago when I arrived to publicize my upcoming film, Last Breath.

Instead of Clarkson, Liu, or any other stars, temporarily filled in as hosts on the show, and so far, Clarkson hasn’t shared her reasons for being absent yet.

On March 6th, comedian Roy Wood Jr. filled in for an absent singer on stage, jokingly commenting, “Kelly’s off today.

In one of the valuable episodes, Wood Jr. temporarily replaced the regular host as a guest. The comedian humorously mentioned, “I’m back again! Rest assured, you’re in capable hands. I was here just a week ago; I suspect they invited me back due to my striking similarity with Kelly. However, you must squint a bit to notice it.

This week’s guests included Michael Fassbender, Rege-Jean Page, and Patrick Schwarzenegger, each of them gracing our couch with their presence.
