The program demonstrates how medical treatment can impact someone’s self-esteem.

‘The Year: 2025’ (2025)

I always find these year-end specials so fascinating. This one, hosted by Robin Roberts and the ABC News team, really takes you back through everything that happened in 2025. They cover all the big stories – from politics and entertainment to what was happening around the world – and it’s not just a recap of events. They also include interviews with the people making the news and really dig into what these events meant for our culture. It feels like a complete picture of the year, a way to understand where we’ve been, and honestly, I like having something to look back on to remember it all.

‘Red Eye’ (2024)

This gripping thriller centers around a doctor unexpectedly arrested and sent back to China after an incident at a medical conference. During the overnight flight home, guarded by a police officer, he becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy. The story unfolds in real-time, building tension as passengers and crew react to the unfolding events. The series is popular for its intense, confined setting and surprising twists, skillfully combining political suspense with a high-stakes survival story.

‘Hell’s Kitchen’ (2005–Present)

Gordon Ramsay’s show challenges hopeful chefs in a tough competition for a head chef role at a top restaurant. Chefs compete in teams, facing fast-paced kitchen services and creative cooking challenges while under immense pressure. The show showcases the skill and resilience needed to thrive in professional cooking. Its continued success comes from the high-stakes environment and the expert advice from the famous chef. Each episode pushes the contestants to their limits with difficult cooking assignments and often, dramatic personality conflicts.

Each episode examines the scientific and cultural importance of objects that are hard to understand, appealing to anyone curious about history and unexplained mysteries. The show reveals how even everyday objects can conceal remarkable secrets.

‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ (2023–Present)

I’m totally hooked on ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’! It’s about this teenager, Percy, who finds out he’s a demigod and gets thrown into this crazy quest to find Zeus’s stolen lightning bolt. Basically, it’s a race against time to stop a war between the gods! What’s really cool is seeing Percy figure out what he is while traveling all over the US with his friends. They’re trying to get to the Underworld and face off against some seriously awesome mythical monsters. As a fan of the books, I’m so happy they’ve stayed really true to the story, and it’s bringing the magic to a whole new audience. The show looks amazing, and they really nailed the characters – that’s why it’s doing so well!

The Kardashians’ (2022–Present)

As a total cinema and TV devotee, I’m really hooked on this reality series that follows a hugely famous family. It’s fascinating to get such a close look at what their lives are really like, both when they’re working on their global businesses and dealing with all the usual family drama. We see everything – big life moments and just the everyday stuff of living under constant public scrutiny. Honestly, it’s no surprise it’s a massive hit for the streaming service; these people are cultural icons! They’re always launching new projects or going through something interesting, so there’s always a reason to tune in and see what happens next.
