Actress Infiniti, who has been cast as Agnes, gained prominence for her performance in Apple TV+’s ‘Presumed Innocent,’ working alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Negga. In the small screen adaptation of ‘The Testaments,’ it is suggested that Agnes is the offspring of June (Elisabeth Moss) and Luke (O-T Fagbenle). While this connection was subtly implied in the novel, it wasn’t explicitly revealed. At present, there’s no certainty regarding whether Elisabeth Moss will feature in the sequel.
Bruce Miller, the mastermind behind ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ will also direct ‘The Testaments.’ He’ll be teaming up with executive producer Warren Littlefield to breathe life into this story. Littlefield points out that although ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ was penned years ago, its themes remain strikingly relevant today, making ‘The Testaments’ a crucial next chapter.
