I completely relate to your situation! Just like you, I too am a parent who wishes for endless free time and patience to play elaborate pretend games like those lively Australian dogs, but alas, we are real people with real-life responsibilities. Thankfully, help is on the horizon for keeping our kids entertained. The LEGO Group has teamed up with BBC Studios to create the first-ever collection of official LEGO Bluey sets! As a fan, I can’t wait to see these adorable LEGO versions of Bandit and Chilli in action.
This upcoming spring, the LEGO Group is set to unveil their first-ever original LEGO Bluey merchandise, inspired by the widely acclaimed children’s animated series. The collection consists of six items, blending elements from both LEGO 4+ and DUPLO lines, making it accessible for young fans to reenact their favorite scenes from the show.
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming LEGO sets inspired by our beloved series. While we’ll have to wait to see the specific moments and settings that will be recreated, LEGO has given us a hint of what we can expect – an attempt to embody the heart and soul of the show itself. In their press release, they shared their vision: “Our partnership is designed to provide families with equally enjoyable moments of imaginative play and creative construction as they build, connect, and reenact their favorite scenes from the series.
Honestly we just want a “Stump Day” set. “STUMP DAY! It’s fun for both kids and dads.” —a dad.
In her statement, Julie Kekwick, Head of Licensing Hardlines Consumer Products at BBC Studios, shared the reason behind their collaboration with LEGO. She expressed excitement about teaming up with the LEGO Group for “Bluey”. She feels that LEGO’s “Bluey” products will provide families with an exceptional opportunity to interact further with cherished characters and tales from the popular animated series, encouraging even more imaginative play based on the Heelers’ world.
They’ll likely be just as excited about the earnings from these toy sets. That’s all good. We wish we had the time that Bluey and Bingo’s parents do, but alas, we don’t. At least, we can provide them with these toy sets to let their imagination run wild as if they were actually in the world of Bluey.
