In the upcoming movie “Avengers: Doomsday,” the actor is slated to portray the sinister character of Dr. Doom. Although specifics about his role are being kept confidential, fans caught their first sneak peek of this character in the post-credit sequences directed by Matt Shakman.
Throughout the movie, even though the Academy Award winner appeared just once, he was always present on the set, taking care of his fellow actors.

During an interview with Variety, the actress openly shared her affection for working alongside Robert Downey Jr. on Fantastic Four sets. She mentioned that he was always present and active. Additionally, she disclosed that she bestowed upon him the title of godfather. Later in their conversation, Kirby expressed that they consider him their leader, referring to him as their Godfather and stating that he takes good care of them.
Although the actress and Downey Jr. didn’t spend much time sharing the screen in the latest film, viewers will find themselves enjoying plenty of their on-screen partnership in the movie titled Doomsday.
In the upcoming project, Kirby will once again take on Sue Storm’s character and collaborate with a distinguished ensemble, consisting of both the original Avengers and the New Avengers, along with her fellow cast members from Fantastic Four. Together, they will band together to combat the malevolence of Dr. Doom.
During an interview with a media outlet, Vanessa discussed how her character’s leadership traits significantly influenced her choices. She expressed that it was a tribute to Matt Shakman’s vision for the character and staying true to the comic books. It was delightful for her to revisit Sue from 1961 in the process.
