Marvel Studios is eagerly preparing exciting future projects with their fresh lineup, including the Fantastic Four team, which will soon follow the success of Thunderbolts in cinemas. Actors like Pedro Pascal are set to star in this highly anticipated team.
Based on recent updates, it seems that Marvel Studios has significant upcoming projects planned for these two teams, as suggested by Jeff Sneider, a well-known industry source.
In the upcoming Marvel productions, both the Thunderbolts* and the Fantastic Four teams are set to make an appearance.
*Thunderbolts is a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
Just in case you weren’t aware, the team known as The Thunderbolts, or alternatively referred to as The New Avengers, consists of Yelena Belova (portrayed by Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan), John Walker/U.S. Agent (performed by Wyatt Russell), Red Guardian (portrayed by David Harbour), Ghost (acted by Hannah John-Kamen), and Robert “Bob” Reynolds/Sentry, who is brought to life on screen by Lewis Pullman.
Prepare to meet the inaugural superhero family in the MCU: Pedro Pascal takes on the role of Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic. Vanessa Kirby steps into Sue Storm’s suit, better known as The Invisible Woman. Completing the quartet are Johnny Storm (played by Joseph Quinn) and The Thing, brought to life by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Just a heads up, both these teams are set to feature in the upcoming blockbuster movie, Avengers: Doomsday.
They will be seen battling the next big villain, Victor Von Doom, a.k.a. Doctor Doom.
The movie was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con in 2024. That’s where it was disclosed that Robert Downey Jr. would be back, but not reprising his role as the cherished Iron Man. Instead, he was going to surprise everyone by playing Doctor Doom, a surprising turn of events that sets him up against his previous co-stars and ready to make his presence known.
