The Electric State Final Trailer: Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt Venture Into Dangerous Waters in Dystopian Sci-Fi

This month on Netflix, “The Electric State” is generating the most excitement among viewers. The streaming service has unveiled its first trailer for this dystopian sci-fi journey, offering a sneak peek into a world dominated by robots. Millie Bobby Brown plays Michelle, a girl from an orphanage who partners with a peculiar robot and a vagabond named Keats (portrayed by Chris Pratt), in search of her missing younger brother.

In my latest exploration of the future, I find myself struck by a perilous agreement with a mechanical being, while Michelle and her trusty cosmic companion look on with captivated curiosity. The moment I take the robot’s life, Brown hastily tries to flee, but I swiftly close in on her pursuit.

Eventually, the two join forces to aid Michelle in her quest. In the trailer, she expresses, “This robot knows where my brother is. I need him back.” She then suggests a plan — to dismantle the corrupt system entirely and liberate both humans and robots from the malevolent group that appears to be pulling the strings behind everything.

Beyond featuring scenes of magic and excitement, this trailer also includes humorous instances. At one point, a robot queries, “Helping humans? Really?” to which Brown responds, “I know, it’s crazy. No hard feelings.” In another scene, Pratt shouts he doesn’t want to perish while Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch’s music blares, coinciding with a major confrontation.

In the Russo Brothers’ production, you’ll find an impressive ensemble of actors, such as Chris Pratt, Danai Gurira, Stanley Tucci, Ke Huy Quan, Anthony Mackie, Colman Domingo, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Yeoh, and numerous others.

Anthony and Joe Russo plan to unveil a prequel video game titled “The Electric State: Kid Cosmo” that originates from the Netflix series. This game, labeled as a compact “adventure puzzle game,” will broaden the realm of The Electric State universe.

According to Anthony Russo, speaking to Variety, the game delves deeper into the bond between the main characters Michelle and her brother Chris, as depicted in the movie. It offers a more detailed exploration of their relationship.

The Electric State will be released on Netflix on March 14.
