Fans of The Elder Scrolls 6 are now extremely excited after Xbox announced its next-generation console, currently known as “Project Helix.” The announcement was unexpected and included few specifics, but was confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) by the new Xbox CEO, Asha Shar.
Fans of The Elder Scrolls 6 generally understood the recent announcement to mean the game will probably be available when the next Xbox consoles launch. Although TES6 wasn’t specifically mentioned, it’s reasonable to believe it will be released around the same time as Project Helix, rather than being released much earlier.
But Xbox Series X/S owners aren’t being left behind. As one player, Previous-Event2, noted, all signs suggest that The Elder Scrolls VI will launch alongside a new generation of consoles. Given that Microsoft owns both Bethesda and Xbox, it’s likely they’ll release the game on both Xbox and PC as widely as possible.
