General Strategy
As a seasoned gamer with countless hours under my belt, I must say that this strategy guide for the Dragon and Tortoise challenge stage 2 has certainly caught my attention. The color-coded teams and turn-by-turn breakdown make it easy to follow along, even for someone like me who’s been away from the gaming world longer than I care to admit (ahem, since the last time we had floppy disks).
For an easier understanding, we’ve assigned different colors to each team so that players can effortlessly follow the arrows depicted here.
Red Arrow = Team 1 Explosive bossing team
Yellow Arrow = Team 2 Piercing
Turn 1
Team 2: Let’s make the initial move, heading upward towards the tile that resembles a step.
Team 1: We should position team 1 on the tile diagonally to our right, aiming for the newly activated one.
Turn 2
As a gamer, I’m team 2 now. Starting my turn, I’m making my way to the tile on the left side of the board. In response, team 1 moves over, aiming for the step tile on the right. This time, their move will transport me back to our starting point.
Turn 3
Team 1: On our third turn, let’s begin from our position and head towards the tile directly above us that needs activation.
Turn 4
Team 2: Lower Team 2 to trigger the tile located just above Team 1.
Team 1: Proceed towards the freshly activated tile now.
Team Building
For stage 2 of this competition, it’s relatively simple: all you need is to select the appropriate damage type against the opponents. Team 1 ought to comprise a blend of Area of Effect (AoE) and Single Target (ST) characters specializing in Explosive damage, as they will encounter both bosses and mobs. Meanwhile, Team 2 should be equipped with Area of Effect characters focusing on Piercing damage, since they’ll solely face mobs. If your team finds it hard to stay alive, think about including Healers and Tanks for added support.
