Instead of the usual studio that’s been behind the past movies, this time around it’s a collaboration between Columbia Pictures, British Film Institute, Decibel Films, and DNA Films. Mark your calendars for June 20, 2025, as that’s when we’ll all get to see this groundbreaking film, which was even filmed using an iPhone! And guess what? The sequel, “28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple,” was also shot on the same device. Can’t wait!

I recently got a sneak peek at the upcoming movie’s trailer, and let me tell you, it gave me a tantalizing taste of the film’s enchanting ambiance and a quick tour of the intriguing Bone Temple!

28 Years Later features Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson portraying Jamie, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, and Cillian Murphy reprising his role as Jim. Erin Kellyman and Edvin Ryding are part of the ensemble, with Ryding taking on the character of E. Sundqvist.
