As a seasoned gamer and a long-time fan of The Boys, I can confidently say that the recent ending of Season 4 left me craving for more. The anticipation for Season 5 has reached new heights, and the prospect of a Homelander spin-off series is nothing short of exhilarating.
The highly acclaimed superhero show “The Boys” has concluded its fourth season, consisting of eight episodes with an explosive finale. It’s been confirmed that there will be a fifth and concluding season, likely to begin production soon; in the interim, we eagerly anticipate the second season of “Gen V.”
Gen V marks the debut of the initial spin-off in the main series. Interestingly, this isn’t the only spin-off we can expect, as showrunners have hinted at more to come, unveiling their plans during San Diego Comic-Con this year. In addition, a Mexican spin-off is planned, and intriguingly, Soldier Boy and Stormfront will also be getting their own separate spin-offs, fueling an engaging theory!
Indeed, when asked about a possible character who could have their own standalone series, the lead actor, Antony Starr, expressed his readiness for a Homelander spin-off. This idea certainly piques our curiosity!
In case you recall, the fourth season sparked mixed responses from viewers and critics alike, but there was one aspect that remained universally praised. Regardless of whether you adored or disliked the fourth season, everyone acknowledged that Antony Starr’s portrayal of Homelander was simply outstanding. Fans have been expressing their praise for Homelander across the internet, even going so far as to compare him to Heath Ledger’s iconic portrayal of The Joker – a comparison we mentioned earlier.
Indeed, his performance has been exceptional, and given how his tale concluded in Season 4, there’s an overwhelming anticipation for Season 5. With the series wrapping up in its final season, there’s a wealth of intrigue and excitement waiting to unfold, and Homelander will undoubtedly be the focal point throughout it all.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but ponder the idea of Homelander getting his own spin-off series. It appears that Antony Starr himself is more than prepared to take on this new challenge.

If by some chance you’re missing out on the video, let me share a summary I’ve made from an interview Antony Starr had with Entertainment Tonight during the San Diego Comic-Con. Here are the highlights straight from my personal perspective as a fan:
ET: “Thankfully also Eric [Kripke] and these producers have created spinoffs galore.”
AS: “Thankfully for who, bro?”
ET: “I was going to ask you which character you think deserves their own series?”
AS: “I’m game, I’m game!”
It’s clear that if Kripke and his crew choose this path, Antony Starr expresses interest in a separate series – fantastic news indeed! However, at the moment of writing, no formal details about this possible spin-off have surfaced. Rest assured, we will keep you posted as more information becomes available, so stay tuned for updates!
