Release date and episode schedule
Season 5 launches with two episodes on April 8, 2026.
New episodes of the series will be released on Prime Video each week, with the final episode airing on May 20, 2026. The season will be accessible in over 240 countries and territories around the globe.

What the trailer reveals about Season 5
The final season appears to show Homelander completely in charge. He’s effectively controlling the world, and his unpredictable, self-centered leadership is changing everything.
The trailer reveals the team is falling apart and facing major challenges. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are held captive in a place called a “Freedom Camp,” while Annie attempts to fight back against a massive group of Supes. Kimiko’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
Butcher returns with his most dangerous plan yet: a virus capable of eliminating all Supes. The trailer suggests this will trigger a final, desperate battle between everyone involved.
