Their adventure started with a picturesque boat voyage and some romantic friction, but matters soon became complex when old emotions resurfaced and fresh conflicts arose.
Ridge confronts Brooke over Nick’s return
Upon reaching Capri, Ridge found himself taken aback when Eric shared that he’d witnessed Brooke kissing Nick. Eric cautioned Ridge, implying it wasn’t a casual affair, and the sight of Nick in Italy left Ridge visibly upset. Contrastingly, Brooke appeared unfazed by the situation and even commented that it was pleasant to observe someone taking action.
The fashion event commenced with models displaying captivating new garments, yet it was Brooke who seized attention in the grand finale ensemble. Later, she mingled with Ridge and Eric for press conferences and photo opportunities, where journalists eagerly took photos of Brooke and Ridge as a pair, nicknaming them the royal couple of fashion.
Meanwhile, the media inquired about Ridge’s engagement with Taylor, causing some awkward exchanges. Eventually, the pressure became too much for Brooke, who left the gathering, forcing Ridge to pursue her departure.
Brooke feels frustrated over her situation with Ridge
Brooke candidly shared that maintaining the facade of a smooth relationship with Ridge was exhausting. She confessed it was agonizing to continually revisit their turbulent on-and-off romance and felt that Ridge refused to acknowledge his lingering feelings for her. Brooke expressed doubt about why she even went to Italy in the first place, and informed Ridge that she had no intention of staying any longer. Despite his efforts to dissuade her, Brooke appeared drained by the entire ordeal emotionally.
Li tries to save Luna’s life
Simultaneously in Los Angeles, Li was diligently nursing Luna, who lay in a coma. Li vowed to keep Luna alive and administered something through an intravenous line, hoping it would aid in her recovery.
At Il Giardino, Sheila voiced her concern to Deacon about how Li wasn’t responding to her messages. Sheila was agitated and yearning for resolution following what seemed to be Luna’s demise, as she was particularly troubled because Li hadn’t disclosed the location of Luna’s remains or ashes. When Li arrived to collect their food, Sheila confronted her once more, but Li remained tight-lipped.
