In the most recent installment of The Bold and the Beautiful, I – as a committed supporter – found myself in the unenviable position of shattering a truth to Hope. The episode began with Hope grappling with the shocking revelation that I had shared with her. To put it mildly, she was beyond distraught.
Instead of diving headfirst into panic and grabbing her phone to dial Liam, she was halted by a tearful Steffy. Steffy then shared every detail of the ordeal, from discovering Liam unconscious in front of Bill’s residence to his confirmed tumor diagnosis.
Steffy informed Hope that the doctor said there’s no surgery for his brain tumor, and his time is sadly limited. She proposed they present a united front until he passes away, particularly for their daughters, as both have children with Liam – Beth and Kelly.
Steffy had been keeping a secret: he wasn’t going to live much longer. However, with great difficulty, she could no longer keep this from Hope and his daughters. In the end, Steffy acknowledged that Hope should be told the entire truth before it became impossible to do so.
In times of crisis, their rivalries faded, and surprisingly, they even exchanged a warm embrace. Later on, at the cliff house, Finn and Liam shared an emotional moment. Finn emphasized the importance of having family by one’s side and encouraged Liam to seek assistance when needed.
Instead, he made it clear that he didn’t prefer the focus on his life to shift towards his upcoming demise. He wishes only those in the know about his condition to remain informed.
In the end, Liam gave in and messaged his dad to meet him at Il Giardino. Simultaneously, Luna complained to Sheila about her father disregarding her. Fed up, she marched straight into her father’s house without warning or knocking.
Despite Finn finding her assertiveness troubling, it didn’t discourage her. Persistently, Luna aims for a private meeting with her father.
