The Bold and the Beautiful Feb 18 Episode Recap: Hope Regains Control Over Carter After His Confrontation With Ridge

In the recently broadcasted episode of The Bold and the Beautiful on February 18, the storyline resumed from where it ended. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) found himself emotionally overwhelmed during his argument with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), a conflict that originated in the previous installment when Ridge lashed out at Hope with harsh words.

Annika Noelle (as Hope) finds herself hurt when Carter reconsiders his acquisition of Forrester Creations, which was formerly under the ownership of Ridge. Yet, she chooses to visit Carter’s office with the intention of assisting him in finding balance and clarity for his doubts and feelings.

At an inconvenient moment, she enters just as Carter and Ridge are engaged in a fierce standoff. This triggers a passionate dispute between Ridge and Hope over Carter, each of them attempting to persuade him that the other is detrimental to his well-being.

In a friendly yet challenging manner, Ridge nudges Carter’s memory of their deep-rooted bond and kinship, causing Carter to ponder his allegiance. Conversely, Hope stands up for Carter, asserting that the Forresters never genuinely valued him and that Ridge is merely trying to coerce him into relinquishing the company.

She strongly advises him to recognize that the Forresters aren’t deserving of his allegiance and guarantees to shield him from exploitation, particularly by individuals like Ridge. After hearing the passionate pleas from both Ridge and Hope, Carter finds himself in a difficult predicament.

Instead of being torn by guilt over the company takeover, will Carter ultimately choose to follow Ridge’s advice and relinquish control due to his sense of loyalty? Alternatively, could he place greater faith in Hope’s intentions?

Meanwhile, within the Forrester office, Zende (Delon de Metz) observes that Carter appears reluctant towards the modifications he implemented in the company during his tenure as leader. Additionally, he becomes aware that aside from Hope, no one seems pleased about the successful debut of Electra and Ivy’s jewelry collection.

Even though Carter and Brooke, who were instrumental in the launch, appear uninterested in what’s being called a win, Ridge feels content with Carter’s emotional upheaval, thinking that it might make him rethink his choice regarding the company.
