Over the past few episodes, Finn has been grappling with revealing to Steffy that he is actually Luna’s biological father. He is more concerned about the significant shift in their family dynamics once this truth is disclosed.
Among his primary worries is the potential disagreement the truth could bring about between his mother, Li, and her sister, Poppy. With no other options available, Finn turns to Poppy for advice about his problems. There, she urges him to maintain the secret, as it would only add to the distress and not alter the past in any way.
Finn, who’s been upset with Poppy ever since she kept the secret for such a prolonged period, confronts her, mentioning that he and Steffy had intended to address the issue after work hours. In a voice audible to the entire office, Finn speaks forcefully to Poppy.
In the same workplace, Li bursts into Finn’s office, claiming she’s aware of his sister’s situation. Meanwhile, Luna, who has been covertly residing at Bill’s estate for quite some time, approaches him requesting assistance in speaking with her own mother. Unfortunately, Bill rejects Luna’s plea to receive any visitors.
He declares that nobody should discover at any point that she’s been concealed here. Luna yearns to meet Finn, whom she just found out is her biological father instead of her uncle. She expresses her desire to encounter Finn again and laments her past actions towards Steffy. (Maintaining a conversational tone while preserving the original meaning)
In a tone tinged with regret, Luna shares stories about Tom and Hollis. And when she remembers the time she imprisoned Steffy, almost taking her life, genuine tears of guilt stream down her face.
