The Blake Lively / Justin Baldoni Feud Continues As the Actor Publishes a Letter to All Survivors of Domestic Abuse

As a seasoned moviegoer and follower of Hollywood gossip, I have to admit that the feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has been quite the rollercoaster ride. While I haven’t been on a film set myself, I can imagine the tensions that must arise when creative differences clash with professional obligations.

You might remember that we’ve been discussing the premiere of the film “It Ends with Us,” featuring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, who also directed this production. The film is an adaptation from a highly successful novel by Colleen Hoover. Although it garnered somewhat divided opinions critically, it managed to rake in a substantial sum at the box office, making it a modest success that can be aptly described as a small hit.

The film has been making headlines more for its off-screen drama than its on-screen qualities, as it sparked a feud between Lively and Baldoni. Lively alleged that Baldoni behaved abusively and inappropriately during production, while some fans accused Lively of exploiting the movie to boost her own profile.

When you might have assumed the situation had settled, Baldoni penned a public letter, which unexpectedly prompted a response from an individual, reigniting a heated online argument about who should shoulder the blame for this unnecessary dispute.

Essentially, there seems to have been tension between Baldoni and Lively during the filming of their project. Reports suggest that Baldoni, who has health issues, asked about Lively’s weight before a scene where he had to lift her. Lively felt this was fat-shaming. Additionally, she expressed discomfort over what she perceived as inappropriate prolonged kissing from Baldoni after the scenes were finished.

In actuality, the truth often lies somewhere in between, but this situation unfolded into quite an elaborate event. Lately, Baldoni penned an open missive online, expressing solidarity with victims of domestic abuse, where he made the following statement:

Dear Survivor,

You embody resilience and courage, qualities that shine bright even on the darkest days. In the tapestry of your life, each thread tells a story of endurance, strength, and hope. Every step forward you take, no matter how small, is a declaration of your unyielding spirit and an inspiration to others. You may not always see the impact you have, but your journey encourages and motivates, lighting the path for those of us still searching for the light. While I can never fully understand your pain and all you have endured, I want you to know that you are never alone in this fight. We are with you. You are not just surviving; you are thriving, and in your thriving, you inspire us all. May your journey forward be filled with moments of profound peace. And may you remember that as you fight for joy…you are liberating us all.

Sending you gratitude, strength, and love. @justinbaldoni

In an unexpected move, a well-known figure in Hollywood, DanielRPK, chose to comment on this matter via Twitter, expressing his thoughts as follows:

It’s utterly absurd, to put it mildly, what happened to Blake Lively on set. And to add insult to injury, they even went as far as employing a public relations crisis management team to tarnish her reputation further.
