‘The Bear’ StarJeremy Allen White Joins Star Wars in a Totally Surprising Role!

As a gamer with a deep-rooted passion for both Star Wars and exceptional acting performances, I am beyond thrilled about the upcoming movie, The Mandalorian & Grogu! With Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni at the helm, and Pedro Pascal reprising his role as Din Djarin, this promises to be an unforgettable journey.

The upcoming Star Wars film is titled “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” This movie, directed by Jon Favreau and written in collaboration with Dave Filoni, continues the narrative from the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal stars as the main character.

Due to the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strikes, which caused a delay in Season 4 of The Mandalorian, Lucasfilm opted to work on a new movie instead. This film was officially announced in January 2024, with production commencing in California in August 2024.

The main characters consist of Pedro Pascal portraying Din Djarin, otherwise known as The Mandalorian, a bounty hunter, and his companion Grogu, who resembles Yoda in appearance. Sigourney Weaver is set to appear in an undisclosed role, while Jeremy Allen White from “The Bear” will lend his voice to Rotta the Hutt, son of Jabba the Hutt.

During the Clone Wars, Rotta – often called “Stinky” by Ahsoka Tano – was abducted as part of an intricate scheme masterminded by Count Dooku and his uncle Ziro. Their aim was to falsely incriminate the Jedi and strain the relationship between the Republic and the Hutts.

On the planet Teth, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano saved young Rotta from danger. Despite falling ill, Ahsoka tended to him until he regained his health. Following their escape from Count Dooku’s deadly pursuit, they successfully delivered Rotta back into the care of Jabba the Hutt. Later on, during a visit by Baron Papanoida, Rotta was spotted at Jabba’s Palace.

The last time we saw Rotta was in The Clone Wars, so by now, he would be all grown up.

Jeremy Allen White, renowned for his performance in the highly praised series “The Bear,” portrays a gifted yet troubled chef on screen, garnering him accolades and widespread fame. Beyond television, he has demonstrated his versatile acting skills in independent films such as “The Rental” and “Afterschool.
