Regarding the announcement on the X account, the production studios stated that “Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie, Odyssey, is an epic mythical action tale filmed around the globe employing cutting-edge IMAX cinema technology.
The post continued, ‘For the very first time, Homer’s epic tale will be shown on IMAX cinema screens. It starts playing in theatres nationwide on July 17, 2026.’
The upcoming film will narrate tales of courage, devotion, and valor drawn from Greek legends. Filming for each actor’s scenes is set to commence in February, while the movie’s premiere will serve as the second joint production by Christopher Nolan and Universal Studios.
In addition to taking part in a major upcoming project, expected to premiere soon, Jon Bernthal will also act alongside Ben Affleck in “The Accountant 2”. This sequel is scheduled for release on April 25th.
