As a dedicated fan of The Bachelorette, I can’t help but be intrigued by Aaron Erb’s recent Instagram post addressing the rumors surrounding the show’s authenticity. With his sudden exit from the competition and clashes on the show, many fans were left questioning if his story was genuine or part of a scripted plan.
Aaron Erb, a participant in The Bachelorette’s twenty-first season, recently took to Instagram to debunk rumors about the show being overly scripted by posting images of his military training in the Air Force.
In Episode 3 of the series, broadcasted on July 22, Erb received a phone call from his military superior requiring him to report for fighter pilot training imminently. Faced with a difficult decision, he decided to leave the competition and follow his ambition instead.
Aaron Erb addresses ‘scripted’ speculations of The Bachelorette show
Erb chose to part ways with Jenn Tran, cautioning her that a few of the remaining men could harbor insincere motives. Due to Erb’s brief and rather theatrical stint on the program—which included disagreements with Devin and instigating conflicts upon departure—some viewers assumed that he was brought onto the show by producers for the sake of generating drama.
As an obsessed fan, I couldn’t help but be puzzled by his unexpected departure and the timing of that mysterious call. The swirling rumors questioning the authenticity of his story had left me feeling uneasy. To put these doubts to rest, Erb graciously shared some snaps of himself in his Air Force uniform on Instagram. Alongside these images, he penned a heartfelt message for those who harbored suspicions about the show being scripted.
For those who criticize the scripts of the show, Phase 1 of the plan has begun. Allow me to introduce for the very first time, 2nd Lt Erb. His next destination: Air Force pilot training (pictured as an airplane).

Aaron Erb’s twin Noah comments to show his support
Noah, Erb’s brother and former controversial contestant on The Bachelorette, supported Aaron publicly. He posted, “No need for an explanation, I’ve witnessed your dedication these past few years. Go represent our country well with a smile and tears of joy.”
As a lifestyle expert, I’d say: After I was eliminated from the competition, fans have been wondering if they might see me again in the future within this franchise. For now, make sure to tune in every Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC for new episodes of The Bachelorette Season 21. And don’t forget, you can catch up on any missed episodes the very next day by streaming them on Hulu.
