’Thank You For The… Nicole Kidman Acknowledges Fans For Their Support Since Her Mother’s Death

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but echo the profound sense of gratitude that Nicole Kidman exudes following the outpouring of love and support she’s received in the wake of her mother’s passing. The heartrending news about my beloved actress, Janelle Ann Kidman, who left us at 84 years old, was broken by the director, Halina Reijn, during the Venice Film Festival on September 7, 2024. This tragic turn of events forced Kidman to abruptly depart from the festival due to a family emergency.

On September 12th, Kidman shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. “Our family and my sister extend our gratitude for the overwhelming love and kindness we’ve received these past few days,” the post said.

Each message we’ve gotten from people who cherished our mom holds a deeper significance than words can convey. On behalf of our entire family, we appreciate your understanding and sensitivity as we support one another during this time.

   

Earlier, in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald in 2020, Nicole Kidman spoke about how her mother’s career influenced her own. Kidman expressed that her mother’s aspirations ignited her to pursue the career she has now because she always wanted to make her mother proud. She also mentioned that even though her mother didn’t achieve the career she desired, she believed her daughters would have equal chances for success.

Nicole Kidman and her spouse, Keith Urban, are blessed with two daughters – Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and Faith Margaret Kidman Urban. Additionally, Kidman has a daughter named Isabella Jane Cruise and a son called Connor Cruise, who she shares with her former husband, Tom Cruise.
