Harvey Specter, the well-known lawyer character, is set to reappear in the new Suits series called Suits LA. The actor who plays him, Gabriel Macht, will once again take on this role. This spinoff of the original Suits show begins with his appearance in episode four, which will air on March 16th. NBC has shared a sneak peek of his return, offering fans an early glimpse of his encounter with Ted Black, who is played by Stephen Amell.
In the opening scene, Harvey and Ted cross paths at a tavern. Instead of requesting two beers, Ted asks for three glasses of Macallan 25, which Harvey promptly arranges.
Later on, he identifies himself as “Harvey Specter,” followed by the statement, “Nice to make your acquaintance.” Then, he poses a question to Ted: “Fancy partnering up with me, or perhaps challenging me instead?” To this, Ted retorts, “You really think I can’t give you a run for your money?” At this, Harvey chuckles.
As I reflect on my past encounters, it’s clear that seeking aid from a former ally becomes necessary when faced with the perilous repercussions of defying a powerful mob figure, such as the one Ted finds himself up against. In this scenario, it’s evident that Harvey will prove to be an invaluable asset in guiding Ted through this treacherous predicament.
In January, Macht shared with PEOPLE his reason for joining the spinoff: “I’m doing it purely for the fans. I’m not in it for myself, as I’ve played the role 134 times already. It’s not about me,” he explained. Furthermore, he expressed a lack of enthusiasm towards returning to acting work. Instead, his aim was to aid the show and facilitate a smooth transition to Amell and the new cast.
In a nutshell, the TV series “Suits LA” showcases an energetic group of actors, with Stephen Amell in the lead role as Ted Black – a man who used to be a federal lawyer from New York City, and has since set up his own legal practice in the vibrant city of Los Angeles.
In this show, we have Lex Scott Davis portraying Erica Rollins, an attorney who’s adept at her job yet grapples with personal issues outside of work. Josh McDermitt plays Stuart Lane, a diligent investigator who excels in spotting details. Bryan Greenberg joins the cast as Rick Dodsen, a charming lawyer renowned for his courtroom finesse. The series will also feature a special return appearance by Rick Hoffman, reprising his role as Louis Litt.
As an over-the-moon fan, I’ve been eagerly catching whispers about Gabriel Macht’s recent remarks regarding Suits LA. He’s hinted at the possibility of some beloved faces from the original series gracing our screens once more in the spin-off! While he didn’t spill the beans on who exactly, I can hardly contain my excitement at the prospect of these familiar figures reappearing. And to top it all off, there are rumors of a few jaw-dropping surprises for us dedicated fans. Oh, the anticipation is killing me!
