Taylor Swift Thanks Swifties for Six Grammy Nominations for TTPD: ‘Everything Is a Reflection of Your Passion’

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for pop culture trends and a soft spot for heartfelt performances, I have to admit that Taylor Swift continues to captivate me with her unwavering dedication to her craft and her fans. The Eras Tour is not just a concert series; it’s a testament to the power of storytelling and the emotional connection between an artist and their audience.

Taylor Swift consistently expresses her heartfelt gratitude towards her fans, affectionately known as Swifties. On Thursday, November 14, during the Canadian leg of her hit Eras Tour, she acknowledged her appreciation for their support in welcoming her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, which has received six Grammy nominations for 2025.

Significantly, an album of Swift’s has been nominated for Album of the Year, marking a milestone as she becomes the first female artist to secure seven such nominations in this category. She has triumphed four times from these seven nominations.

At the 2024 Grammy Awards, Swift unveiled TTPD, her 11th studio album, during her acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album. She referred to it as a particularly emotional project at that moment.

During last night’s concert, I shared some heartfelt words with all of you, and I wanted to take a moment to express how incredibly impressed I am by your response to The Tortured Poets Department album over these past few months. It means so much to me on a deeply personal level because this album was actually penned during the Eras Tour.

During the Fortnight, they led the audience step by step through the album creation and integration into the Eras Tour lineup, maintaining secrecy about the project as a way to delight their fans with a surprise reveal.

After considering the album’s achievement, Swift stated, “Every action you undertake mirrors the enthusiasm you display, and as a result, you have managed to get this album nominated for six Grammy Awards.

“It’s so unbelievable, so thank you.”

Swift will conclude her Eras Tour in Vancouver on December 8 after being on the road for 22 months.

There’s been talk about Taylor Swift possibly spending Thanksgiving with Travis Kelce’s family, but those rumors were quickly debunked by Travis’s mom, Donna Kelce. She explained that Taylor is engrossed in her final performances for the Eras Tour, as she has a 13-day gap between her six shows in Toronto and three in Vancouver.

Apart from what Donna said, it appears the Kelce family hasn’t made any specific arrangements for Thanksgiving just yet. This is because they might be preoccupied with supporting Travis in his game against the Las Vegas Raiders, scheduled for November 29 – the day following Thanksgiving.
