Taylor Swift Should ‘Speak Out’ About Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s It Ends With Us Lawsuit, Says Megyn Kelly

At the Time100 New York City Gala last Thursday, Megyn Kelly – a fellow honoree of Blake Lively – shared some words of wisdom for Taylor Swift regarding the recent drama surrounding Lively and director-actor Justin Baldoni’s film “The It Ends With Us.” This incident has also drawn in Swift and her husband Ryan Reynolds into a controversy.

Kelly expressed dissatisfaction with Lively being on Time’s Most Influential People list, stating that her inclusion was primarily due to her status as a well-known celebrity. Previously working at Fox News, she also referred to the accusations against Baldoni as instances of “unfounded Me Too allegations.

In a message sent to Baldoni, Kelly mentioned that it’s unclear whether Taylor Swift is indeed like Khaleesi’s dragon or not – as this is what Blake Lively claimed. So, she will accept Lively’s statement as truth. Furthermore, Kelly stated that if she were in Swift’s position, she would address the ongoing controversy directly rather than staying aloof from it.

At the gala, Lively was accompanied by her husband and mother, Willie Elain McAlpin. During her acceptance speech after receiving recognition, she took a moment to honor her mother. In her heartfelt speech, she acknowledged her mother’s incredible courage for surviving a deadly attack that occurred before she was born.

One day as she was driving home, the actress heard about another woman in a similar situation on the radio. This woman had shown immense courage and strength, and it was this story that kept the actress’s heart beating strongly. Unfortunately, the actress’s mother never received justice.

Several months following the movie’s premiere, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and using manipulative social tactics to harm her reputation. She claimed he orchestrated a vengeful smear campaign that led to her experiencing emotional distress, fear, trauma, and intense anxiety.

In response, Baldoni has launched a lawsuit against Lively and her spouse, alleging defamation, breach of contract, and civil extortion. They will both appear in court on the 9th of March, 2026.

This week, it’s being reported that both Swift and Hugh Jackman have been summoned in the continuing court case, possibly to provide testimony in the legal struggle.
