Taylor Swift Shares Child With Colorado Man? Singer Lands Protection From Ex-Convict’s Absurd Claims

45-year-old Brian Jason Wagner, allegedly a long-time stalker of Taylor Swift, has been temporarily restrained by a court order. Court records indicate that Wagner showed up at Swift’s Los Angeles home in July 2024, making false claims about being the father of her child and insisting on meeting her.

It turned out that Wagner, whom Swift’s security personnel had not previously encountered, possessed a criminal background, penned extended, delusional letters to the singer while in prison, and even modified his driver’s license to display her home address without their prior acquaintance.

Wagner’s unwanted visits and threatening mails

In May 2025, Swift alleges that Wagner repeatedly appeared at her property, asserting he was merely checking on a friend, which her team found questionable. She also recalls an instance in July 2024 when he was seen carrying what could potentially be used as a weapon – a glass bottle.

In a probe conducted by her security team, it was uncovered that Wagner had previously served time in prison and had sent hundreds of emails to Swift’s personnel, spreading fabricated tales of a romantic relationship. Furthermore, he made an effort to redirect Swift’s private correspondence to his own mailbox.

Court’s protection order and Swift’s safety concerns

On June 9, 2025, a judge in Los Angeles approved Swift’s petition for a short-term ban against Wagner. This injunction prevents him from getting within 100 yards of Swift, her residence, workplace, vehicles, or any place she might be.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but feel the chill of impending danger that lingers in the air, given Wagner’s relentless upsurge in the frequency and magnitude of his approaches towards Swift – the beloved artist currently enamored with Travis Kelce. The past years have seen Swift confront several stalking incidents, one being the 2024 arrest of an individual outside her Eras Tour concert.

In her statement, she emphasized her years-long requirement for privacy and safety precautions, reminding us of a 2019 interview with CBS Mornings where she said, “People seem to drop by unannounced, as if they believe we’re married in some fictitious sense.” With this court order, Swift aims to regain the feeling of safety that was taken away due to Wagner’s relentless harassment.
