Taylor Swift Performs Surprise Mashup Of THESE 1989 Hits To Celebrate 10th Anniversary Of Fan-Favorite Album; Watch

As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for music and pop culture, I find Taylor Swift‘s dedication to her craft truly inspiring. Her ability to engage with her fans and pay homage to her iconic works is commendable. The mashup of How You Get The Girl and Clean during the Eras tour concert was a delightful throwback that allowed her audience to reminisce about the good old days while grooving to her soothing voice.

Taylor Swift truly brought her fans’ wildest dreams to life by performing the blend of ‘How You Get The Girl’ and ‘Clean’ from her 1989 album. This was done in celebration as the popular track marked its decade anniversary. Her melodious voice undoubtedly had everyone at the venue dancing while evoking a sense of nostalgia.

On Sunday, October 27 (the same day her album was initially released in 2014), Swift performed a mashup as part of her Eras tour concert at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

People magazine reports that during the show, the singer expressed, “Today marks 10 years since the release of my 1989 album – a full decade! I can’t help but feel incredibly grateful for how you, the fans, have shaped it. I will always be immensely proud of this album.

Prior to playing her mashup of How Do You Get A Girl and Clean, Swift expressed that it was time to share a few tracks from her new album.

Last year for the 9th anniversary of her album, she commemorated the event by putting out a re-release called Taylor’s Version of 1989, featuring previously unreleased songs from her vault.

The popular artist posted on Instagram to announce her birthday, expressing joy. In the caption, she wrote, “I made my debut in 1989, underwent a transformation for the first time in 2014, and part of me was reborn with the re-release of this cherished album in 2023.

2016 found me utterly ecstatic during the Grammys, as Taylor Swift took home the Album of the Year award for her legendary record – a momentous occasion that made her the first female artist to claim this prestigious honor twice! But oh, the excitement didn’t end there! In the same category, she added not just one but two more trophies for Folklore and Midnights. I couldn’t help but cheer with joy as each win came in!

In 2016, when the singer received the award, she mentioned during her speech that some individuals might try to belittle your accomplishments, claim your victories as their own, or attribute your fame to them along the journey.

Swift went on to say that if you focus on your tasks without letting others divert you, one day when you reach your destination, you’ll realize that it was you and those who cared about you who helped get you there. This realization will bring a tremendous sense of accomplishment.

The remaining performances for Swift’s current Eras Tour will take place in December, with a total of 12 shows scheduled in Toronto, Indianapolis, and Vancouver.
