It’s possible that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman could be called to testify in a legal conflict between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, as they are among the celebrities anticipated to receive subpoenas in this ongoing case. At this point, neither Swift nor Jackman has been officially notified, but they have been listed as potential witnesses.
The legal dispute arises from Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni, who is both her co-star and the director of ‘It Ends With Us’. Blake has alleged that Baldoni sexually harassed her and further claims he responded by disseminating untruthful information about her. In retaliation, Baldoni submitted a USD 400 million countersuit, accusing Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of defamation and extortion.
Despite her name being linked to the case, it’s reported that Taylor Swift prefers no part in Blake’s legal dispute with Justin Bieber. According to Entertainment Tonight, a source revealed, “Taylor has no interest in getting involved in Blake’s court case with Justin. She and Travis have been taking some time off, traveling, and cherishing their peaceful moments together.
In terms of public statements, Swift hasn’t said anything about the ongoing case, and her legal representatives haven’t disclosed any intentions related to a potential subpoena at this point. Instead, she appears to be prioritizing quality time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and keeping a low key profile for now.
The ongoing legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is expected to persist well into the future, with their court date set for March 2026. This gives each party ample time, approximately a year, to gather their evidence. Among the charges brought forth by Blake are accusations of harassment during the production of “It Ends With Us,” as well as her belief that Baldoni orchestrated a defamatory campaign against her post-filming.
Baldoni’s group has refuted the allegations. In response, they have filed a lawsuit against Blake and Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of attempting to tarnish Baldoni’s reputation by making false statements and using defamatory and extortionate tactics.
