Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman to Appear in Court for Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Lawsuit: Report

According to a report by Daily Mail, Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman are expected to receive subpoenas in Blake Lively’s ongoing legal dispute with her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni. The source claims that these celebrities will be summoned to court for the trial, scheduled to start on March 9, 2026.

According to the source, it’s possible this event could occur without warning, and they claim that Taylor Swift (the Cruel Summer singer) has been anticipating the arrival of a subpoena. Nevertheless, neither Swift nor Jackman’s representatives have verified this information as accurate yet.

The famous singer found herself entangled in her friend’s court case when a series of texts, made public by Baldoni’s attorney, revealed that the actress from “Gossip Girl” had playfully called the Grammy-winning artist and her husband Ryan Reynolds her “protectors.

It’s said that this development reportedly made Swift unhappy, leading to a strain in their friendship. In December 2024, Lively took legal action against the actor from Jane the Virgin, alleging him for inappropriate conduct on set, breach of privacy, and sexual misconduct, among other charges.

As an ardent admirer putting words to my passion, I’m expressing that Baldoni took legal action against both parties for extortion and defamation. Not only did he involve the renowned pop star in this turmoil, but he also alleged that his fellow actor attempted to exploit their industry connections, particularly with Swift, to seize creative control over IEWU’s production.

Should you find time to watch Game of Thrones at some point, you’ll understand my reference to being a Khaleesi since, much like her, I too possess a couple of dragons,” Lively wrote in a message to Baldoni, who was also the movie’s director.

Despite not specifically naming the pop star in his lawsuit, Baldoni referred to her as one of Lively’s well-known and closely associated friends. He claimed that this “friend” expressed approval for Lively’s script rewrite when invited to their New York City penthouse with Reynolds.
