Returning Cast and New Faces

What Landman Is About

Landman is a story set in the rapidly growing oil towns of West Texas. It follows the people chasing fortunes – from oil company executives to independent wildcatters – and how the oil boom is changing the region’s economy and the lives of those who live there.

The second season reveals that with the newfound oil wealth comes hidden truths. Tommy Norris, played by Thornton, finds himself increasingly squeezed by the demands of M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and issues within his own family. Life in West Texas becomes fiercely competitive as alliances break down and the balance of power changes.

Behind the Camera

Taylor Sheridan leads a large team of executive producers including David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Christian Wallace, Billy Bob Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, and Stephen Kay. Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch from Imperative Entertainment, and J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt representing Texas Monthly, also serve as executive producers. Tommy Turtle is a co-executive producer on the series.

The series Landman is a production of Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions, owned by Taylor Sheridan. Paramount Global Content Distribution is responsible for distributing the show around the world.
