Take a STRANGER THINGS Set Tour with the Cast as Part of Geeked Week

As a hardcore Stranger Things fan who has been following the series since its inception, I must admit that watching the behind-the-scenes tour video during Geeked Week was like a dream come true. It’s been an agonizing wait for season five, and while we didn’t get a trailer or a glimpse of new monsters, the video was still a delightful treat.

Man, it feels like we’ve been waiting an eternity for season five of Stranger Things to drop! Netflix hasn’t given us a concrete release date yet, but rumor has it that we might get our hands on it in 2025. At Geeked Week, Netflix’s exciting sneak peek event, they’ve given us a little something to hold onto before the new season arrives. It wasn’t a trailer or a glimpse of fresh monsters, but rather a video tour of the set in Atlanta, GA, led by Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo themselves! They took two lucky fans around the set, showing us glimpses of what’s to come. I can hardly wait!

As a dedicated fan, I, Amy, get the exclusive opportunity to step behind the scenes of Stranger Things alongside my friend Elycia. With an uncanny ability to recall intricate details from earlier seasons, we dive headfirst into the archives with the talented Wolfhard.

Following McLaughlin, the audience is given a peek into the wardrobe room filled with ’80s attire from the show that fans adore. Particularly intriguing for them is Steve Harrington’s costume, being their most beloved character. (Apologies in advance.) Lastly, Matarazzo leads them to a room where they discover an extensive network of Upside Down black vines – a sight that turns out to be merely hundreds of thousands of pool noodles. The Stranger Things production managed to keep a bustling enterprise running (quite amusingly) thanks to their demand for these materials.

The one actual bit of teaser we get from the video is what Lucas, Mike, and Dustin look like in the final season, since the actors lead the tours in costume. Lucas’ flattop has reached skyscraper height while Mike has finally cut his ridiculous stringy hair. But the biggest “aw” moment appears to be that Dustin has grown his hair out and wears a Hellfire Club t-shirt in memory of the fallen idol that is Eddie Munson. Adorbs.

Well, that’s about it – a delightful video featuring actors in costumes. Here’s an interesting thought: Even though we’re still waiting for Stranger Things 5 next year, let’s make the most of every little tidbit we find!
