Tainted Grail: How to enter the Sunken City

In your mission to discover Excalibur in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, following the fate of Galahad – be it sparing or eliminating him – you’ll then need to venture to an enigmatic locale called the Sunken City, a place once allied with Arthur. But reaching there isn’t straightforward; upon reaching the marker, you’ll encounter a damaged entrance. To help guide your journey further along the main storyline, we’ll explain the steps required to unlock the gateway.

How to enter the Sunken City

Head towards the quest symbol, where you’ll discover a damaged entrance that can be mended. Look around the arch at ground level and grab the Broken Gong. Afterward, carry the gong to the blacksmith located in the Horns of the South. When you present it to him, he’ll inform you that he can repair it, but he needs some materials from you first.

To repair the gong, you’ll specifically require 15 Ethereal Webs, which are not common but can be found in luminescent nests scattered throughout the open world. These nests have a bright blue glow and yield 10 Ethereal Webs each when harvested. However, be cautious as this resource is also used in other quests and activities, so make sure to save the necessary 15 for your current task.

After acquiring the necessary items, bring them to the blacksmith for repairs on the gong. Once fixed, you may return to the entry point, rehang the gong above the archway, and then utilize it as a key to unlock your route to the Submerged City.
