To put it simply, when you say “I’m going to utilize the Life Spindle”, it gives you the power to subdue the Wyrdness. However, before that can happen, you must first overcome Caradoc in a fight. Interestingly, Caradoc aims to destroy it instead. Once you defeat him, Arthur’s soul will return to its proper place, and the Red Death will cease, allowing the world to start mending from all the harm inflicted upon it.

Orrin’s ending – Resurrect Arthur

If you decide to disregard Caradoc and Arthur (the man) in this situation, you’re choosing to make a personal sacrifice that could potentially bring King Arthur back to the throne.
