SZA and Kendrick Lamar are set to perform at the Super Bowl LIX Intermission on February 9, taking place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. These two music powerhouses have recently released hit collaborations that are breaking records, including “Luther” and “30 for 30.
Previously nominated for Oscars, the Grammy-winning vocalist and Pulitzer-winning rap artist have been recognized in those arenas for their collaborations on All the Stars and Doves In the Wind. Now, there’s talk of a joint album between them and the songstress, known as the Humble rapper. But before that becomes a reality, fans can look forward to witnessing these two talents ignite the stage at the Super Bowl.
A freshly released trailer showcases their upcoming act, featuring a playful SZA squirting Lamar with a sports drink-filled ice cooler. While this, Lamar discusses his preparations for the event. Previously, the Not Like Us rapper has graced the halftime stage on other occasions.
At the Super Bowl 2022, it was Kendrick who first took the stage in a performance alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige, and 50 Cent. This spectacular show ultimately won an Emmy for the exceptional live variety special category.
