SZA Drops Teaser for Her Long-Delayed Deluxe Album, Lana Announces Release Date and Actor in Video Clip; See Here

As an ardent fan of SZA, I’ve been dancing to her beats since the days of Childress and Control, and this latest revelation has sent my fandom soaring even higher! The fact that Ben Stiller, who played Derek Zoolander, is vibing to a new track by SZA titled “Drive” is beyond exciting. It’s like watching Mr. Blue Steel himself grooving in his car, and I can’t help but imagine him strutting down the runway saying “I feel pretty…oh so pretty” while listening to her music!

As we’ve all been enjoying her music, SZA just provided another reason for us hardcore fans to be even more devoted. This talented singer-songwriter, who has already given us hits like Kill Bill, Nobody Gets Me, All The Stars, among others, made a big announcement on social media.

In the Instagram post shared by the Smoking on My Ex Pack singer, spectators grew increasingly excited upon spotting a well-known figure savoring a tune by SZA.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to point out that the individual in focus here is none other than Ben Stiller, famously known for his role in Night at the Museum. While cruising down the road, he’s not just driving but singing along to a tune titled “Drive”.

In a steady shot, Ben Stiller (the Zoolander star) was spotted waving his hands from behind the steering wheel, with the car’s windshield mirroring the world outside. Yet, unlike the camera, he wasn’t stationary; his movements became more animated as he listened to SZA.

In her social media post’s caption, the artist of the Power Is Power song casually announced “Drive, starring @benstiller and directed by @bradleyjcalder.” She also shared that her deluxe album will be released on Friday.

As a devoted follower, I’ve noticed a unique wave of skepticism arising among fans regarding SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s ongoing tour. Some speculate that this tour could mark the debut of her new album, given the prime opportunity it presents. However, others are cautious, fearing it might just be another false alarm, as the album has been hinted at through multiple past events.

Last week, another hint or preview related to SOS (released two years ago) was unveiled, as it is a special edition that features Lana.

Since the release of her SOS album, SZA has frequently discussed the upcoming deluxe version.

In a chat, the musician known as the Dove from “Wind” shared that “[the collection] ‘Lana'” includes leftovers from ‘[SOS]’ as well as fresh tracks, and a few extra songs have been included. Essentially, it’s a whole new creative endeavor.

SOS by SZA was launched back on December 9, 2022.
