In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Sydney Sweeney opened up about how she stays grounded while navigating a busy career and the pressures of Hollywood. She shared that her main priority is being genuine and connecting with people. When asked what she wants the public to understand about her, Sweeney explained that she always tries to approach situations with kindness and sincerity.
She shared with the magazine that she’s always prioritized kindness and believes love comes in all forms. For her, this means treating everyone with respect, no matter who they are. She learned this approach from a major celebrity early in her career, who showed her the power of leading with compassion.
Thinking back to when I was on the set of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, I was so struck by Brad Pitt. It wasn’t anything flashy, but I noticed how he’d spend his breaks just talking and joking with the people who handled transportation – the crew, you know? It really resonated with me. Honestly, I absolutely loved seeing that. It made me realize that truly succeeding in life isn’t about status, it’s about respecting everyone around you.
The interview takes place as Sydney Sweeney launches her new lingerie line, SYRN, which became available on January 28th. Sweeney has emphasized that she wants SYRN to be more than just a celebrity brand – she wants it to empower women. She sees the line as a way to connect with her fans and show that women can feel confident and in control through what they wear.
The brand’s marketing campaign has already generated a lot of buzz, especially after a daring promotion that featured the famous Hollywood sign. The designer wants to shift the focus from seeking approval from others to embracing self-acceptance through her work.
Sydney Sweeney is having a huge year, following the success of her thriller film, The Housemaid. The movie did so well that a sequel is already planned, with Sweeney returning to her role later in 2024. She’s also getting ready for the new season of the popular show Euphoria, which will premiere in April and features a more complex storyline for her character, Cassie Howard.
The 28-year-old actress is taking on new challenges, moving into the sci-fi and sports drama genres. She’ll be starring in a live-action Gundam movie for Netflix with Noah Centineo, and the project is already creating a lot of excitement among anime enthusiasts.
Sydney Sweeney is also going through a personal change after ending her engagement with Jonathan Davino in late 2025. She recently told Cosmopolitan about the challenges of dating when you’re famous, explaining that she’s never tried dating apps and struggles to meet people the usual way.
