Sydney Sweeney has completely separated herself from her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, both personally and professionally. She bought him out of their production company, Fifty-Fifty Films, which they started together in 2019, and is now running a new company, Fifty-Fifty Films, Inc., on her own.
Though they successfully produced films like Immaculate and Anyone But You together, their business relationship ended when they called off their engagement in March 2025. Documents show the original company was dissolved by a unanimous vote in December.
Sources say Davino has suggested he played a key role in Sweeney’s success, but those close to the actress believe it was the other way around. Sweeney’s team finalized the split by establishing the new corporation in January, with Sweeney taking on all leadership positions to avoid further complications and speculation.
Zendaya is now fully in charge of her production company, acting as CEO, CFO, and Secretary. Documents show there are no open positions on the company’s board, confirming she has complete control over her upcoming projects.
This move comes after a challenging year for the actress, who has openly discussed the difficulties of maintaining her privacy while dealing with public perception. Currently, Zendaya is experiencing a very productive and creatively fulfilling period in her career.

Later this year, Rebecca Sweeney will play iconic actress Kim Novak in the upcoming biopic, Scandalous, directed by Colman Domingo. She’s also joined the cast of the action-packed sci-fi adaptation Gundam, alongside Noah Centineo. There’s also ongoing speculation that Sweeney will appear in The Devil Wears Prada 2, potentially reuniting with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway and solidifying her position as a major Hollywood star.
