Before embarking on her summer performances as a backup artist for Billie Eilish and Renee Rapp during their UK tour dates, Syd has come out with her initial solo song in more than three years. Titled “Die For This,” the track serves as her first single since the April 2022 launch of her second solo project, Broken Hearts Club.

In 2017, Syd officially launched her solo career with the premiere of her first major project, “Fin.” Since then, she has been consistently working on additional singles, EPs, and collaborations, leading up to the release of “Broken Hearts Club.” Notably, The Internet released their fourth studio album, “Hive Mind,” in 2018 as well.
