Sword Of The Demon Hunter: New Demon on the Block

In the latest episode of Sword of the Demon Hunter, titled ‘The Demon’s Daughter,’ I find myself in Edo. As a dedicated demon hunter now, I was tasked by an elderly merchant named Juuzou to safeguard his cherished adopted daughter, Natsu. Juuzou’s right-hand man, Zenji, shared the heartrending history of this merchant, encompassing his sorrowful encounters with demons that led to the unfortunate loss of his wife and son due to these supernatural entities.

In a turn of events, Jinta uncovers that the haunting was rooted in Natsu’s deep-seated insecurities and lack of emotional care. After Natsu confronted her emotions, Jinta manages to vanquish the demon, even those lingering fragments of Juuzou’s wife’s spirit. The following morning, Jinta peacefully leaves after expressing gratitude, and Juuzou communicates to Zenji that unconditional parental trust requires no justification.

Episode 3 of “Sword Of The Demon Hunter” unfolds three years subsequent to the Sugaya incident. Regularly, our protagonist Jinya finds himself at a local soba eatery, owned by a father-daughter duo. Whispers abound about a series of gruesome slayings, eerily similar to beastly attacks, yet the body count doesn’t align with those reported missing.

In the local community, there’s chatter about some supernatural entity being involved. That very night, Jinya examines the crime scene where a woman’s terrified scream can still be heard echoing, accompanied by a body drenched in blood. This discovery implies the arrival of a potentially harmful spirit and hints at an enigma shrouding the missing victims.
