On the 10th of August, Saturday, I’m thrilled to share some incredible news – my partner Urker and I are welcoming a baby girl into our lives! We took to Instagram to announce this joyous occasion with a heartfelt video. In this video, you can see us standing in front of a cluster of balloons, which we proceeded to pop, revealing a shower of pink confetti – a symbol of the little princess that’s on her way!
In the video, Blanchard and Urker can be seen warmly welcoming their soon-to-arrive daughter, openly expressing their joy at finally having a little girl in their family.
She announced, “Darling, I’m your mother,” and then Urker added, “And I’m your father.” Together, they confirmed, “You are our daughter!”
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Blanchard conveyed her joy about establishing her very own family. She’s deeply appreciative of all those who contributed to the festivities – friends, neighbors, and kinfolk; furthermore, she extended her gratitude towards those who have shown their love for them thus far.
In the title she posted, “Here it is, the moment you’ve all been anticipating… It’s a girl! Ken and I are ecstatic and can’t wait to begin our family. We’re incredibly grateful for our friends, neighbors, and relatives who attended our celebration today! We also want to express our gratitude for your love and encouragement!”
In July, Blanchard shared with People magazine an interview about her unexpected pregnancy, which came as a complete surprise. Following the cancellation of their previous engagement, Blanchard and Urker rekindled their relationship. During the interview, Blanchard expressed her desire to be a supportive mother, similar to how her stepmother has been for her own children. She admires her stepmother’s parenting skills and believes she is an incredible mom.
She expressed that she’d learn from her stepmother’s approach, which involves allowing her children to pursue their dreams while offering support when needed. Gypsy-Rose Blanchard aspires to adopt this caring attitude in the way she parents.
