‘Survivor 50’ Trailer Teases Returning Favorites, Celebrity Guests, and Fan-Driven Twists

CBS has just dropped the first trailer for the 50th season of Survivor, offering fans a preview of the upcoming season and its unique theme: “In the Hands of the Fans.”

The new trailer debuted after the season 49 finale and features familiar faces, special celebrity appearances, and a look at the show’s expanded scope for this landmark season.

As a huge fan, I was thrilled to see the teaser reveal that Savannah Louie, the winner from last season, and the strategic mastermind Rizo Velovic are both coming back to compete again! It was also cool to see the trailer start with a quote from Coach Wade – a real nod to the show’s legacy. And get this – Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus who also played before, is joining the cast this season! It’s shaping up to be an amazing season.

This season will really let fans impact how the game is played. The trailer shows players already know about this new element, and some big celebrities will be joining the fun. Expect to see singer Zac Brown and popular YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) on the islands, along with Jimmy Fallon and Billie Eilish, who are also scheduled to visit Fiji.

Jeff Probst, the host and executive producer, promised that this season would be unlike any other. The new trailer confirms this, suggesting that the mix of returning players, fan involvement, and special guests will make season 50 a unique and celebratory milestone for the show.

The new season starts on February 25, 2026, and will feature returning players from throughout the history of Survivor. The cast includes memorable contestants like Colby Donaldson and Cirie Fields from the early seasons, stars from the middle years like Chrissy Hofbeck, more recent players such as Mike White and Christian Hubicki, and fan favorites from the latest seasons including Savannah Louie, Rizo Velovic, and Kyle Fraser.

This season is shaping up to be a memorable one, with fresh gameplay, increased fan participation, and a blend of returning and new contestants. The show aims to honor its past while also keeping things exciting. Host Jeff Probst highlighted the importance of fan involvement, saying, “We’re excited to see how fans shape the game.”
