CBS has just dropped the first trailer for the 50th season of Survivor, offering fans a preview of the upcoming season and its unique theme: “In the Hands of the Fans.”
The new trailer debuted after the season 49 finale and features familiar faces, special celebrity appearances, and a look at the show’s expanded scope for this landmark season.
As a huge fan, I was thrilled to see the teaser reveal that Savannah Louie, the winner from last season, and the strategic mastermind Rizo Velovic are both coming back to compete again! It was also cool to see the trailer start with a quote from Coach Wade – a real nod to the show’s legacy. And get this – Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus who also played before, is joining the cast this season! It’s shaping up to be an amazing season.
This season will really let fans impact how the game is played. The trailer shows players already know about this new element, and some big celebrities will be joining the fun. Expect to see singer Zac Brown and popular YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) on the islands, along with Jimmy Fallon and Billie Eilish, who are also scheduled to visit Fiji.
