It seems that the marketing strategy for Superman is gaining momentum, as there are reports suggesting a 5-minute sneak peek will be screened in IMAX cinemas, prior to the showing of The Minecraft Movie.
The news coincides with CinemaCon towards the end of this month, along with Superman Day happening on the 18th of April. Notably, April marks only a three-month gap until the movie’s premiere.

5-Minute Superman IMAX preview
Information reached us that an IMAX sneak peek announcement, initially posted by a Thai cinema chain, appears to have been removed. The post seemed to suggest a screening of Superman before Minecraft.
On Friday, April 4th, the official release of Minecraft is scheduled, however, there will be previews available a day earlier (on Thursday). Notably, this corresponds with the announcement of the Superman IMAX preview on April 3rd, which will also feature Minecraft.

CinemaCon
I’ve learned that next week, starting on April 1st, Warner Bros. is rumored to make a presentation at CinemaCon. Coincidentally, this is the same week Minecraft is set to be released.
There’s a chance that we might get to see the five-minute sneak peek by James Gunn at CinemaCon on Tuesday. If all goes as planned, this preview will be made available globally starting from Thursday.
Superman Day
April 18th is marked as Superman Day. Warner Bros. has declared they’ll celebrate with a special one-day tour themed around Superman at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. It’s likely that James Gunn will join in the festivities as well.

When does the next trailer get released?
So far, James Gunn has unveiled just a teaser for Superman and a TV ad titled “Icon”. The majority of the promotional efforts have been centered around him participating in the Puppy Bowl and a commercial featuring David Corenswet and Shaquille O’Neal. It’s expected that we’ll see another Superman trailer in April.
