Superman Soars into China: Exciting New Trailer and Poster Revealed!

James Gunn, David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult reveal that the “Superman” film is set for distribution in China.

In line with the latest announcement, fresh posters featuring David Corenset have been revised in Mandarin. You can view the announcement and related posters down below.

Chinese big fans of comic book movies

Although the Chinese box office earnings for films like Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” (2013) and “Batman v Superman” (2016) are not as high as they once were, with $63.44M and $95.7M respectively, it is clear that a Chinese release can still boost the overall profit.

2022 saw some popular U.S. films debuting in China, such as “Minecraft” earning $28.9 million, followed by “Thunderbolts” with $15.9 million, “Captain America: Brave New World” making $14.3 million, and the newly released “Lilo & Stitch” taking in $9.4 million. It’s evident that Chinese audiences have a strong interest in superhero movies, as shown by “The Batman” raking in an impressive $25.3 million this year.
