As a die-hard fan of Patrick J. Adams since his days as Mike Ross in Suits, I am absolutely thrilled to see him taking on a leading role in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone spinoff series, The Madison! His transition from law to finance, and now the wild west, is nothing short of captivating.
In the excitement of rumors about Suits returning, seasoned actor Patrick J. Adams has moved on to another opportunity within Taylor Sheridan’s thriving modern western world. Adams will play a significant role in an upcoming Yellowstone spinoff show titled The Madison, alongside actress Michelle Pfeiffer, who is well-known for her role in Scarface.
On Tuesday, it was officially announced that Patrick J. Adams, aged 42, has joined the cast of “The Madison.” Notably, this series is being helmed by Taylor Sheridan, who is renowned for creating the hit show “Yellowstone,” at the age of 54.
From playing Mike Ross, a college dropout turned lawyer on USA Network’s Suits from 2011 to 2019, to embarking on a fresh journey as Russell McIntosh, a young investment banker in the growing Yellowstone series, has been the focus of many news headlines. Remarkably, this new role mirrors Mike Ross’ final storyline in Suits, where he transitions to work at Sidewell Investment Group as a banker.
I’ve recently had the incredible opportunity to make my Broadway debut, playing the role of Phillip Grimmer in CBC’s Plan B. Looking forward, I’m excited to share that I’ll be featured in the BBC and Netflix production, Lockerbie. It’s an honor to be part of such prestigious projects!
Despite the free-spirited nature of Adams’ character, Russell in “The Madison” adheres strictly to a predetermined life course as he and his family relocate from New York City to Montana’s Madison River Valley, according to various accounts. The upcoming series is recognized for its emotionally resonant portrayal of human relationships and mourning.
As the final season of Yellowstone approaches without John Dutton III (portrayed by Kevin Costner), the show’s creator is expanding the cast for The Madison, marking the first spinoff that unfolds within a contemporary timeline rather than the historic periods featured in shows like 1883 and 1923 within the Yellowstone universe.
Actress Beau Garrett, recognized from Netflix’s Firefly Lane, has been confirmed as a prominent character in an upcoming Yellowstone spinoff. She is expected to portray Abigail Reese, a strong-willed divorced woman living in New York City. This new series will also feature star and executive producer Pfeiffer, along with newcomers Elle Chapman and Amiah Miller.
In her first appearance on TV, Chapman will portray Paige McIntosh – a character known for her self-centered nature, love for luxury, and lavish lifestyle in New York, which is supported by her parents and investment banker husband. Meanwhile, Miller has been cast as Brigitte, Abigail’s older daughter. Pfeiffer, aged 66, takes the lead role in the spinoff, playing the mother of both Chapman’s and Garrett’s characters. According to reports, actors Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, and Cole Hauser might be seen in the upcoming series “The Madison”. However, an official announcement about their appearance has not been made yet.
I’m a dedicated follower excited to share that the series we’re all looking forward to, formerly known as 2024, is now titled “The Madison.” This captivating production is brought to us by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. I have the privilege of working alongside Sheridan, who serves not only as the creator but also as an executive producer. Other esteemed individuals in these roles include David C. Glasser, John Linson, Jon Burkle, Bob Yari, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox. We can’t wait to see this project unfold!
For the upcoming series The Madison, specific plot details and a definite release date are yet to be revealed. This strategy appears to be aimed at focusing attention on Sheridan’s highly acclaimed western drama, which is set to debut the second half of its fifth and final season following a two-year hiatus.
In simple terms, starting from November 10, 2024, you can watch the last episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 only on Paramount.
