Gabriel Macht expresses great admiration for Rick Hoffman. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Macht reminisced about working together, as they’re both set to appear on the spinoff series Suits L.A. One memorable scene from the final season of Suits that Macht mentioned was when Donna and Harvey unexpectedly find Louis at his place in just his underwear.

Just as viewers found the on-screen sequence amusing, so did the actors filming it. In an interview about the making of the episode, Macht revealed, “There was one scene, I believe it’s near the end, where he’s wearing some underwear, and let me tell you, it was something incredible.

In addition, he reminisced, “To be honest, Rick is an incredibly gifted performer. His versatility was astounding, and during the early years, it was nearly impossible for me to maintain a serious expression. He had me in stitches constantly.

In the same scene, when Harvey inquired about Louis’ peculiar underwear, Louis explained that he was wearing a “male swimsuit,” which is often humorously referred to as a “mankini.

In response to a question, the actor from Behind Enemy Lines remarked, “He’d say, ‘It’s my scene.’ To which I replied, ‘I get it. I appreciate it so much. I find it hysterical. I teased him relentlessly by laughing at him because I think he’s fantastic.’

In the series, the dynamic between Gabriel Macht’s character Harvey and Paul Giamatti’s character Litt was quite complex, with hints of sweetness tinged with sadness. To begin with, they found each other’s presence grating, but as the show progressed into its ninth season, they developed a strong friendship.
