Gabriel Macht is coming back to play Harvey Specter in the upcoming Suits L.A episodes airing next week. A sneak peek of the episode called “Batman Returns,” released by NBC, depicts Ted Black and Harvey Specter as long-time friends, enjoying whiskey together and dressed comfortably.
As a devoted fan, it appears that the scene shown might be a flashback, set to unfold further in the series during the forthcoming episodes.
Regarding Specter joining Ted Black’s law firm, while they strive hard to rescue Lester’s film, any strategies they employ could inadvertently compromise the ongoing murder case instead.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Korsh, the show’s creator, shared that one of the main characters from the original series is set to reappear. He explained that when they filmed the pilot, a photograph of this character was included without prior discussion with Gabriel. If Gabriel wasn’t interested in returning, the creator mentioned that the image could be removed easily. However, he added that it would be more challenging to reinstate the character if they decided against it later on.
He went on to say, “We proceeded to do it, and once we secured a follow-up season, I simply reached out to Gabriel to inquire if he’d like to join us, which he generously agreed to.
Before the debut of the series, Macht also shared on Instagram that Harvey Specter will resume his professional duties.
In addition to Macht, Rick Hoffman, known for his portrayal of Louis Litt in the original show, is scheduled to reprise his role, however, it will be limited to just one episode.
