- It features waterproof outerwear and pants made from Mackintosh’s signature rubberized bonded cotton
- The range is offered in navy, black, and peat colorways abd will be released October
Studio Nicholson and Mackintosh have collaborated to create a small collection that combines Mackintosh’s long-standing expertise in waterproof fabrics with Studio Nicholson’s contemporary style. Made in the U.K. using Mackintosh’s signature rubberized cotton – a process where two layers of high-quality cotton are bonded with rubber for complete protection from the elements – the gender-neutral line features three essential pieces in classic navy, black, and peat tones.
This collection features three outerwear pieces designed for both style and practicality. The Ettrick raincoat is a longer, relaxed fit balanced by sharp tailoring. The Teviot jacket is shorter, hitting at the waist, and includes a black taped hem and button-up collar for added protection. Completing the set, the Tay pant offers a comfortable, roomy fit with useful taped pockets. All pieces are finished with dark-brown Studio Nicholson buttons, creating a look that’s sophisticated yet functional.
The collection launches October 3rd, with prices ranging from £525 to £1,395 (about $704 to $1,870). You’ll be able to buy it online from both Studio Nicholson and Mackintosh, as well as at certain stores.
