Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on Stranger Things, has hinted at the show’s ending, suggesting it won’t satisfy all viewers. He believes the finale will be divisive among fans.
The actor recently discussed the stress of filming the show’s last episode in an interview, and those comments are now circulating.
According to Schnapp, it’s simply impossible to create an ending that will make every fan happy. He emphasized that the show’s creators aren’t trying to favor one group of viewers over another, and acknowledged the final episode is particularly important and carries a lot of significance.
The final episode of the season carries a lot of weight – it needs to wrap up everything that’s happened and also represent the core message of the entire show.
Finn Wolfhard said that the cast and creators of the show have gotten used to ignoring online discussions and criticism. He explained that while fans frequently debate potential endings, those opinions don’t influence the writers’ decisions. The Duffers, the show’s creators, and the cast are good at ‘tuning out the noise,’ he added.
Finn Wolfhard commended the Duffer Brothers for their unwavering commitment to their creative vision. He explained that while there’s often disagreement during production, the Duffers remained remarkably focused. He also noted the show’s meticulous planning, saying that every detail and plot point was intentional and carefully considered from the beginning.
The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is nearing completion. The series will conclude with a feature-length finale—an episode lasting over two hours—scheduled to premiere on December 31st on Netflix. It will also be shown in some movie theaters.
Season 5 is dividing fans. Some viewers have said there are too many characters and not enough time to develop them in the last eight episodes. Others find the storyline overly complex, particularly with its increased emphasis on apocalyptic scenarios and intricate backstory.
