After a long wait, the first part of Stranger Things’ final season, Volume 1, is almost here! This marks the beginning of the end for the popular Netflix series, and fans around the world – including those in India – are incredibly excited.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 release date and time in India
As a pop culture enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! The first part of Stranger Things Season 5 will be hitting Netflix on November 26th, 2025, right here in the US. And for all my friends in India, you won’t have to wait long – you can start streaming Volume 1 on November 27th, 2025, at 6:30 AM IST, also exclusively on Netflix. The best part? Netflix is releasing all the episodes at once worldwide, so no waiting between episodes – binge-watching is officially encouraged!
The second part of the season will debut on December 26, 2025, followed by the third part on January 1, 2026. New episodes will be released at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, which is 1 a.m. GMT, 2 a.m. Central European Time, 10 a.m. in Japan, and 12 p.m. in Australia (AEDT).
Initial details about the first four episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 reveal that the season starts with episodes that are longer and more in-depth. Here are the lengths of those episodes:
- Episode 1 – 1h 8m
- Episode 2 – 54m
- Episode 3 – 1h 6m
- Episode 4 – 1h 23m
The series will end with a special two-hour finale that will be shown in over 350 movie theaters across the U.S. and Canada. It will be available to stream at the same time. This is a new way for Netflix to release a final episode.
